Jake Bauers has received a qualifying offer from the Milwaukee Brewers. This offer makes him a free agent with restricted rights. It allows him to consider other teams while the Milwaukee Brewers hold the right to match any competing offers. The move happens during the 2026 MLB offseason, which has seen several players get qualifying offers. The Brewers action shows their focus on keeping key players while giving Bauers the chance to negotiate elsewhere.
