Governor Gavin Newsom signed bills to limit Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE activities in California. The legislation include restrictions on the use of conductive gloves by officers and support measures for immigrant groups. These actions follow a recent case where a baby girl was found dead in a dumpster, leading to the arrest of her mother. The new laws aim to respond to issues related to ICE activities and assist immigrant groups.
